The Function Of Pump Electrical Automation In Pump Station

1. About the pump station

Pump station, also called pump, pumping station engineering, is a device and engineer project which could provide a certain pressure and flow of hydraulic power and pneumatic power.

Fuel tanks, motors and pumps are three main components of pumping station, there are also many auxiliary equipments, like oil supply equipment, compressed air equipment, water filling equipment, water supply equipment, drainage equipment, ventilation equipment and lifting equipment etc. As to the valve and so on, it all belongs to the auxiliary material set.

2. The demands of pump station electrical automation in pumping station

(1)The automatic control, measurement, protection, monitoring and communication of Pump station electrical equipment.

It includes: high voltage power transmission& transformation system, 0.4KV power distribution system, DC system, master excitation system, motor integrated protection system.

(2)The automatic control, measurement, protection, monitoring and communication of pump station and important auxiliary systems.

It includes: oil system control set for main engine (for example, the pump vane pressure regulating system; the rapid gate liquid (oil) pressure operating system; the lubricating oil system; the gearbox cooling oil system etc.), gas system control set for main engine (for example, low pressure gas system for vacuum breaker valve (siphon pumping station ); pressure oil for for water pump blades and medium voltage gas storage system for other pneumatic tool.), pumping station water system (for example, water cooling system for main engine set; pumping station drainage system and fire water system etc).

(3) A variety of non-power automatic measurement, monitoring and communication.

It includes: monitoring about displacement, settlement, uplift pressure and stress etc in hydraulic safety; monitoring about hydrology, water level, water regime, water quantity and water quality etc; monitoring about different temperature and humidity; monitoring about gate opening and load.

(4) The internal and external communication network, office automation, security fire fighting system of the pumping station.

(5) Uploading the total station video surveillance system and video information. It will be classified and integrated based on above requirements of the automation systems. The automatic monitoring system is designed in accordance with the requirements of the flow chart, then to make it with the following functions: control, protection and regulation function; data acquisition and processing functions; equipment operation online monitoring function; accident prediction and alarm function; data transmission and system management functions.
