Four Practical Ways For High Voltage Switchgear Daily Maintenance

High voltage switchgear has good performance to gain a long life time, like anti-corrosion, anti-aging etc characteristics. Usually the cabinet is with high strength design, the material mainly selects insulation DMC material, which is safe, durable and strong flame retardant. Following we would like to introduce 4 ways for daily maintenance of high voltage switchgear:

1. Regular dust cleaning

To make sure the operation of equipment and electrical circuit safety, we should do daily regular dust cleaning of the high voltage switchgear, and record the maintenance data to avoid the the dust accumulation affect the work performance.

2. Checking if the bolt tightening or not

As the HV switchgear plays an important role in power distribution etc, ensure its normal operation is necessary, checking bolt fastening routinely in case the bolt is loose, timely tight it via professional tools if happened. 3. Checking the lighting situation

4. Replacement of damaged parts timely. (must be handled by professional)

I suggest that the company allocate professional managers of high voltage switchgear, who has rich knowledge and experience in electrical field, to deal with the issues timely to avoid leading to safety issues when the power distribution cabinet are damaged or need to be replaced.
