• On October 11, HNAC and College of Information Science & Engineering of Hunan University signed the agreement on jointly building the “joint laboratory of monitoring and information technology” (hereinafter referred to as “the Laboratory”). This is HNAC’s first college-enterprise joint innovation laboratory with the objectives of “talent cultivation, incubation of industrial products and combined problem tackling of key subjects.

Listing of the Laboratory will be carried out in HNAC and College of Information Science & Engineering of Hunan University simultaneously. HNAC will invest at least 1 million yuan and provide research & development equipment, development tools, manual labors and sites etc. necessary for research & development every year. Building of the Laboratory aims to create the brand-new practical teaching mode of “multi-industry, innovation learning and research”, cultivate high-quality versatile talents required by the enterprise in the “Industry 4.0 Era” and incubate potential innovative products for the enterprise by means of mutual talent cultivation and communication.

Li Renfa, Head of College of Information Science & Engineering of Hunan University introduced that engrafting HNAC’s R & D projects into curriculums of the College, letting students practice in the enterprises and carrying out talent cultivation jointly by the enterprises and the College are the College’s new attempts in teaching concepts so as to “promote effective synergy between students and enterprises in terms of knowledge structure and concept and thereby adapt students to social demands as soon as possible”.

By means of this cooperation, HNAC and College of Information Science & Engineering of Hunan University will establish the long-acting win-win cooperation mechanism so as to promote mutual scientific research and industrial development in the advanced fields of monitoring and information technology enter into a new stage and a new highland.
