Gifted persons from all over the world gathered in Hunan.
On October 17, 2016, 34 officials and technical management personnel from Cambodia,
Ecuador, Egypt, Lesotho, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Sri Lanka and Zambia
etc. gathered in HNAC International Technical Exchanges Center and started
their 14-day transnational learning journey. They have never met before, but
have been spiritually attracted for a long time. Many senior engineers of HNAC
gathered together with representatives participating in the International
Training Workshop to carry out the high-level, profound discussion and
communication, which had more actual guidance value, on small & medium hydropower
technical development, scheme design, upgrading and reconstruction technologies
and application system and equipment, operation maintenance and management of the
application system etc.
Although languages
are different, hearts are borderless and all representatives tenaciously desire
for knowledge. During the class, learning ways were various, not only including
expert instruction, but also including special communication link for foreign
guests. Engineers of HNAC and representatives participating in the workshop
expressed their own views, during which, the views were profound and
communication atmosphere and learning atmosphere respectively were very active
and strong. Not only specialized knowledge was discussed, but also profound
friendship was established virtually in the meantime.
What’s learned from
books is superficial after all. Profound knowledge comes from practice. On October
24, 29 representatives carried out the field study in Liujiaping and Yumitan
hydropower stations in Longtan Area, Xupu County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province.
On the site of hydropower stations, 29 representatives discussed and
communicated with engineers of HNAC and workers of hydropower stations on
operation equipment and operation and maintenance experience of hydropower
stations, thus combination of theories and practice was achieved really and
learning effect was improved significantly.
